Along with this, the price of the phone has also been disclosed. Earlier, the Indian smartphone maker had launched its first 5G phone Lava Blaze last year. The new phone will be the successor of Lava Blaze. This will be an entry level phone.
Let us tell you that the company launched Lava Z series in 2021, followed by Lava Blaze 5G last year and Lava is now preparing to launch another entry-level smartphone in the country. According to a tweet by tipster Mukul Sharma, this entry-level smartphone may hit the Indian markets in April. The tipster has also suggested that the smartphone could be equipped with the Unisoc T616 SoC. It is being said that the price of the smartphone will be less than Rs 10,000.
This mobile phone will give a tough competition to the devices of smartphone companies like Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo, Poco and Realme in the budget segment. The tipster has also shared a picture of the alleged Lava Blaze 2, which suggests that the smartphone will sport a glass rear panel. Compared to other phones in the budget category, this phone will come with a premium look. The handset is shown in an unspecified orange color in the image.
The dual rear camera setup can also be seen on the smartphone which is housed in two large circular cutouts. The leaked image also shows an LED flash along with the rear cameras. Other hardware specifications of the handset are yet to be revealed, such as its display size, battery capacity, or whether it will support fast charging. However, if the April launch timeline suggested in the leak is to be taken into account, more details and features of the phone are likely to emerge before the launch.
